itsmywifes Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 This thing continues to pull surprises out of the hat. Watching an event last evening, we dived into the car to avoid a rain squall and were confronted with the little clock / frequency display reading "ECO-MODE" I'm guessing that the boot light had been on for some time and the C3 had made up its own mind that we didn't need it and there was no point in wasting battery power. Of course, since the handbook doesn't have an alphabetical index there is no quick way of checking. Anybody want to confess to having read the whole thing? IMW Quote
Hawkeye Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Asked and answered ... It will also display "eco-mode" if the radio has been on with the ign key off. After 30 mins or so it will shut down the radio and flash the dashboard battery light. Just a battery-saving feature. Quote
CE08LDB Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 It will only operate then when you start the car and turn it off and it will last for another 30mins. Quote
