Ciaran2903 Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 My dad called cis just now and they said that would not be a problem! Now to save the money. Will get £200 soon so not miles away! Now to pick the colour.Should i get:1. Black? 2. Oriental Blue (to match the paint)? 3. another colour? Any thoughts? Thanks Quote
Stuey Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Iwould go for metalic black so it matches everyone elses...I would show you a picture of mine as it is the same car but there is some sort of funky error message when I try to post a pic... Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 oh what, yours is a oriental blue coupe with a black vts spoiler? I was thinking black but wasnt too sure. That has probs made my mind up, thanksWould be cool to see a pic if the site will let you some time. Quote
lab44 Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 I would go for black - i reckon it looks best whatever the colour of the car. Think they come as standard in black anyway unless you want to spray it yourself. Quote
ham's c4vts Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 we've seen it colour coded on a coupe in silver and does'nt look good in silver, black is best, the blue may look good too Quote
Stuey Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 yep mine and your cars are identical. can anyone post pics?? it does seem to be buggered quite royally... Quote

Ciaran2903 Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 Thanks for the help guys.Sorry i havent posted in a while, i was at a very long pool party! Quote
wozza Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 bumpity! So when you getting your spoiler mate? And dont pay someone to fit it do it yourself its incredibly easy take you around 30 minutes literally 2 torx screws and 5 nuts and bending a few bits of plastic so the clips come out. Think the hardest bit was getting my boot struts off as one of the clips was a right little sod to get off. Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 whenever i get the money. should only be a couple of days! (skint due to photography! :o )Thanks, I will fit it myself! Cant wait! :D Quote
Stuey Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 set of VTS wheels and window tinting for me next I reckon... Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 Yeah, me too. That should be it for me! I could spend way to much money on my car! Quote
Welshguy Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Dont buy VTS wheels unless you can get them on the cheap - remember - ebay is your friend! As for the spoiler (on-topic!) - Be careful with the plastic trim you need to remove to get at the screws for the spoiler...I was a little rough with them and managed to snap a clip or two. Sit fits nicely but tends to rattle a little when I have the tunes up! :o Quote
Stuey Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 you on commision for Ebay?? :o I keep checking there for them but there is never any :( If I buy them from Citroen I will get discount ans should be able to sell em me old wheels too... Quote

You just need to twist the bit upwars. Quote
