bigrob Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Hi I am going to be taking my C4 abroad for a holiday. does anyone know how to convert the display from MPH to KM/h, so I can easily stick to the speed limits? (rather than having to do a calculation in my head!) I can't seem to find it in the manual. thanks Quote
Mat Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Mine came set to km/h. It was the first thing i changed. I did it before i opened the manual, so its pretty logical how the menu structure works. I bet with 10 mins you can get it set, just by playing with the buttons. Quote
bigrob Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 thanks, but I am obviously a lot thicker than you, I have tried playing with it, but I just can't find it! Mine also came set to km/h a year ago when I got it, but I can't remember how I changed it! ARGH!! Quote
syrup Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 bigrob If you go into the menu (on radio panel) Personalisation Configuration will appear, press ok(on radio panel). Display Configuration will appear, press ok. Choice of units will appear, you can pick litres for fuel and kph, when you have selected your units press ok then the left arrow key next to the menu button so ok is highlighted on that display panel, then press the ok button again then menu, all done. It's in the handbook. Quote
bigrob Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 It worked great, thanks! Don't know why I couldn't do it before - I could get it to change temperature units (C /F), but not speed. done it now though! :( Quote
Welshguy Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Glad you've sorted it now. I have an even easier way to go it next time - because your car came set up as kph all you need to do is disconnect the battery for a few minutes...this should rest the car to its default language/settings Quote
Mat Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 If you do that, will settings like enabling the AUX socket be reset to default values too ? Quote
Welshguy Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Not sure about that...only reason I know it works is because Citroen always seem to disconnect my battery when they work on my car. It's annoying in some ways because they can't convert the car back to MPH because I have anaftermarket stereo...so I have to do it myself :P Quote
wozza Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 See I have all the buttons for that on my steering wheel as well so I dont need the original stereo for anything. :P Quote
