organist Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Dear List friends, Has anyone discovered the 'flashing' courtesy light yet? Hmm - maybe not. I did by accident today - I drove off with the passenger door not closed fully, and not only did a horrendous noise emit from the warning system but the courtesy light flashed on and off madly - another rewirte for the owner's manual I think. Also had to do my first emergency stop today, (from only 25mph) and BOY did the thing stop! The Hazard Warning Lights came on automatically, as they should. The speed at which the thing stops seems also to be related to the SPEED at which you depress the pedal, not necessarily how HARD you press it. Best regards, Richard the organist Quote
pork_pie Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Richard Yes I knew about the flashing courtesy light if the door is open and you drive off. Did not know the auto hazard lights were linked to speed and not pedal pressure. I thought the damn thing did not work. Any luck in sorting out the kid proof locks as I have the same problem. Owners manual is poor. Brakes are very good. Quote
Tony_T Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 Yup new about that one, had to try it out one night  I dont know if its mentioned in the Owners Handbook tho, reason I knew was thro the handover from Duttons Forshaw. Quote
