Guest Mark A Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 The warmer weather's revealed this one, but think it's been happening from new. In the sun ... Set to 19c - it behaves Set to 17c - it behaves, but vehicle ends up chilly eventually. Set to 18c - after a delay, it will wind the fan up to about '2 1/2 blades illuminated' i.e. start of 'intrusive air flow', and throw cold air about in quantity with an air of crisis about it. pork_pie Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 The temperature sensor for the climate control is situated in the grilled enclosure below the overspeed warning button. Check for obstructions. The temperature display on the controls aren't all that accurate anyway. Set the temperature at 22 and in reality thr temparature is 20-24 degrees (so why include this as a feature) Still, it looks like a nice sophisticated system you see on luxury cars but for the luddites - a complete nightmare.
