eastg Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 I am thinking of trading in my 05 plate VW Polo for a Citroen C4 1.4 LX 5 door hatch. What insurance group is this car and is it any good? Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Off the top of my head it is 4, a quick look in the back of "Top Gear" shows that it is.......... 4. Best thing to do is to get a quote online, i got a quote from "Direct Line" for a C4 1.4 VT, but they would not insure a C4 1.4 VTR??!!?? Crazy, Same Engine, no performance mods, same insurance group!!! Quote
ham's c4vts Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 try......www.confused.comor....www.moneysupermarket.com they should help :D ps... i found that sainsburys was the cheapest for me 2 years on the trot! Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Yeah, there good, if they dont list CIS then you may want to try them, in my case there are the cheapest. Quote
wozza Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 greenlight are good as well and also adrian flux. And the cars are good. Not quite up to VAG build quality but then again neither is a polo wouldnt say there particularly well put together either my old golf was not that hot either. Cars are god look great most of the teething issues have been sorted out in the newer ones. Take one for a drive and see it wont have the chuckability of the polo but it'll be comfortable. Quote
