Im willing to buy it and sort the webspace out will just need some help setting a few things up most likely my HTML is so so but not up to much and my graphics skills are even worse lol. Quote
Welshguy Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Loving the C4sportsclub If the C2's can have their "sports club"...why can't we ! <_< Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 couldnt choose, and didnt realise that if you "null vote" to look at the results then you cannot vote! Doesnt matter though. Quote
Rich_Eason Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 citroenc4.org.uk vote for me Afterall the topic is pick a web address for a C4 Owners Club We wouldnt want to single out the lower range non sporting models......would we? <_< Quote
wozza Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 I did a null vote as well so dont worry about it. And the sportsclub thing was just cause so many places seem to have the sportsclub name. xsara, c2, clio, to name but a few. And they cater for any car its just a name. Quote
wozza Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 Ok i manged to lock the topic so if you wanted to say something....sorry lol. We will blame that on alcohol its open again now so feel free to post. My vote goes for the C4sportsclub thing so count that as a vote extra since i null voted. howver can always set up a couple domains at less than £2 a year i really dont mind setting up a couple domains pointing towards the same thing lol. Ciaran2903 Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Yeah, c4sportsclub for me too. (even though the 1.4 can hardly be called "Sporty"! <_< ) Quote
bill03 Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Could someone explain what relevance "sport" has to owning a current C4? <_< Quote
Mat Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 C4owners.co.uk. I dont have my car for sport. Not allowed by insurnace. Quote
Stuey Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 I must admit the sport doesnt really need to be there. C4ownersclub.co.uk would be perfect. Ronseal (does exactly what it says on the tin) <_< Quote
wozza Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 True it does indeed. Although C4owners seems to be winning but the c4ownersclub wasnt added straight away. So who wants c4owners? and who wants c4ownersclub? And whos gonna help me out with it? lol Quote
Stuey Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 C4ownersclub.co.uk for me... I dont mind giving you a hand with stuff....I can do photoshop/general piccies to make it look shiny. I reckon keep it forum based like this just with our name for ease. Quote
Z3M Roadster Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Not to sway people from this forum but you could have the "c4um.co.uk" spelt phonetically for those who don't get it Quote
wozza Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 C4oc.co.uk (c4 owners club) Can do small titles like that as well. Can i have some final votes please not actual votes but more people saying what they want still if they have changed there minds etc im feeling c4ownersclub Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Could someone explain what relevance "sport" has to owning a current C4? The same way you can explain having a motorbike as your avatar on a Citroen Car forum. :D Just like the way it sounds. What is the relevance of "sport" in a C2 club? Quote
bill03 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 What is the relevance of "sport" in a C2 club? Exactly.. :) Nothing in the current Citroen range could be called "Sporty".If it was Honda Civic Type R, Mégane Renaultsport 225, Ford Focus ST or a BMW M3, then maybe..Avatar: Although I like the C4 I prefer riding the bike. :D Quote
hertsnminds Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 If you are searching the web for info about the C4 you are more likely to be looking for terms such as C4 Owners Club, or C4 Owners than C4 sport (that is a bit too specific). Which is why I would go with a URL with C4 Owners in it. My preference would bec4owners.co.uk IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote

Mat Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 A google for 'C4 forum' doesnt bring up this forum on the first page. However, 'Citreon C4 froum' brings it up as 3rd on the list. But that isnt down to the url is it? More down to the meta content of the site Quote
wozza Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 Yup if you search for citroen forum this is the 1st site on the list. Quote
