Stuey Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I seem to remeber Lee saying "I dont break the speed limit" :o He will blame it on pere presure I bet :o Quote
wozza Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 I Think he was testing out the speed at which is needed to get pulled by the police personally see how far he could push it. Think this might be a half decent description though except take away the chav refferances. http://www.howmotorwayswork.co.uk/playstation.htm :o :o :o Quote
Stuey Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 it might aswell have a pictire of Lee and his motor :o :o sorry Lee... Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I go away for two minutes and you're all gossipping behind my back!! Now let me tell you I had the cruise control on at 85 no whoops 75 no whoops 70 I mean.......I don't speed that much!! Although it has to be said on motorways 85 does tend to be the order of the day a lot of the time. And what exactly do you mean diving in between traffic? Humph I resent that statement! Quote
wozza Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 There is one thing i was curious about how hard were you pushing the car up that sliproad? Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Certainly don't remember flooring it mate, but I don't tend to hang around on slip roads either.......why? Quote
wozza Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Just curious as i was expecting you to kind of catch me up a bit more having the extra power and well ya didnt so i was curious lol. At the time i was more concerned about getting up the road as quickly as possible as people tend to not stick to the 2 lanes n that sliproad and cut people in the fast lane off while your flying up behind them. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 aaaah sorry to disappoint mate, never floor it too much places I don't know either.... perhaps at the next meet I'll chase u up the slip road!!! :P Just thought I'd say it was a good day, shame a few more of us couldn't have made it, perhaps we should have a day at Alton Towers or something next time, that would be quite a laugh. Anyway, thanks to wozza for organising the majority of the day! Quote
wozza Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Alton Towers sounds like a good idea. ANd its a little further south and something worth travelling for. And not dissapointed mate you have more power and a shed load more torque and also a car that cost nearly double mine lol. Think you need to get it remapped though :-P you know your wanting that 180bhp and that huge amount of torque. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 yeah and Alton Towers is nearer me :P hehe mewants a lot of things mate! Quote
Stuey Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 were back onto the "get it chipped Lee" conversation again then :P Alton Towers sounds like a sound plan to me. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Yeah....beginning to think wozza wants me to get it remapped just so he can have a go in it :o Quote
wozza Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 lol i might do... I want to get my own done but if i start on the engine i wont know when to stop i'll go nuts and im just not gonna bother was thinking about putting the money to another project like dropping in a uno turbo engine or punto GT engine into my cinquecento. 700kg + 150bhp or so could be rather good fun just need to find a decent cheap engine. 1.4 turbo cinquencento sounds like a laugh though. as well as a deathtrap Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 hehe yeah.....like havin a bit of metal round me in a car with that sort of bhp!! I suppose the other thing is as well the Diesel 138 has more potential for remapping than the Petrol 1.6...... Quote
wozza Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Mainly cause of the turbo a turbo 1.6 chucks out around 160 - 200bhp. I know theres a kit for this engine to turbo it but its just pointless spending all that money on the car to be honest id rather go buy a faster car to begin with. Although it would be a bit of a laugh for those people not expecting it. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 yeah true....always fancied sticking a 1.4 badge on the back of mine.......until I realised I had a life!! Quote
wozza Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 haha. See the bdages have come off mine during the spraying of certain bits and im too stingy to go get new ones lol. Quote
Z3M Roadster Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 The badges on the boot have fallen off mine! Quote
