I Think he was testing out the speed at which is needed to get pulled by the police personally see how far he could push it.

I go away for two minutes and you're all gossipping behind my back!! Now let me tell you I had the cruise control on at 85 no whoops 75 no whoops 70 I mean.......I don't speed that much!! Although it has to be said on motorways 85 does tend to be the order of the day a lot of the time.

 

And what exactly do you mean diving in between traffic? Humph I resent that statement!

There is one thing i was curious about how hard were you pushing the car up that sliproad?

Certainly don't remember flooring it mate, but I don't tend to hang around on slip roads either.......why?

Just curious as i was expecting you to kind of catch me up a bit more having the extra power and well ya didnt so i was curious lol.

 

At the time i was more concerned about getting up the road as quickly as possible as people tend to not stick to the 2 lanes n that sliproad and cut people in the fast lane off while your flying up behind them.

Just thought I'd say it was a good day, shame a few more of us couldn't have made it, perhaps we should have a day at Alton Towers or something next time, that would be quite a laugh.

Alton Towers sounds like a good idea. ANd its a little further south and something worth travelling for.

 

And not dissapointed mate you have more power and a shed load more torque and also a car that cost nearly double mine lol. Think you need to get it remapped though :-P you know your wanting that 180bhp and that huge amount of torque.

I want to get my own done but if i start on the engine i wont know when to stop i'll go nuts and im just not gonna bother was thinking about putting the money to another project like dropping in a uno turbo engine or punto GT engine into my cinquecento. 700kg + 150bhp or so could be rather good fun just need to find a decent cheap engine. 1.4 turbo cinquencento sounds like a laugh though.

hehe yeah.....like havin a bit of metal round me in a car with that sort of bhp!!

 

I suppose the other thing is as well the Diesel 138 has more potential for remapping than the Petrol 1.6......

Mainly cause of the turbo a turbo 1.6 chucks out around 160 - 200bhp. I know theres a kit for this engine to turbo it but its just pointless spending all that money on the car to be honest id rather go buy a faster car to begin with.

 

Although it would be a bit of a laugh for those people not expecting it.
