Buster Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Have bought the above vehicle second hand yesterday (2001 model) but have a query regarding the air con. If I push the air con button the green light comes on but nothing happens. Do I need to turn the blowers on in order to get the air con working or should it just work as soon as I push the a/c button? Apologies if it's a simple answer but the owners manual isn't very clear. I assumed as soon as I pushed the a/c button I would hear a noise to confirm it's working and thought the blowers would be a totally separate thing from the air con itself. Quote
wozza Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Well without the blowers on how would the air circulate? The blowers need to be turned on and also press the air recirulation button since the aircon also dehumidifies the air wont mist up and will cool down quicker. And for any other questions relating to the picasso it has a forum all of its own also ran by the same people that run this one. Which i have provided a link to below. http://citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/ Quote
Buster Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 Cheers, have posted on there as well. I thought the air con would run independently of the blowers, after all I get the same level of coldness from the blowers with or without the air con button turned on. I also thought I was supposed to hear a click when turning the air con on, but nothing happens. Quote
