Ciaran2903 Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I have my car booked in for port enabling tomorrow (saturday), and was wondering if i should get the cable installed at the same time or if it is easy enough for myself to do it?Is there any special tools needed??Are the instructions wrong?? Thanks Quote
C4VTS Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Got my cable done at Citroen dealer I bought the car from, for free. They have put the outlet in the central draw thingy under the vents below the central display. I have no idea how difficult it is to do that, but it looks a neat job and saved me having to rip the car apart. :P They would have charged about £65 for the whole job. :P Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted September 1, 2006 Author Posted September 1, 2006 Awesome, because that is where i thought would be the best place for it! :P Fingers crossed for tomorrow! :P Quote
incubus Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Am i right in thinking that i can add an Ipod to my CD Changer plug on the back of my Stereo in my VTR+...?? If this is the case then there seems to be lots of options and prices out there... :P ... Oh obviously i dont have a CD Changer.... Look here. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/pr...3_adapters.html WoW...That Scorpion set up looks keenly priced... :P ... BTW...Does anyone know the make of the Stereo's fitted in the C4 or do they differ with each version...They did with my old Picasso..? ..... Quote

Does anyone know the make of the Stereo's fitted in the C4 You can have a 9706AG Aux cable fitted to the C4 radio. This is a cable that allows any device with a 3.5mm connector to be plugged into the C4 Radio. The UK C4's are all fitted with a Blaupunkt radio, and there is currently not any adapters available to directly control an Ipod, as the changer connections are non-standard. Quote
wozza Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Only way to directly control ipod is aftermarket device of some kind either something like what ham has got or aftermarket headunit. Quote
Mike5483 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Well, I routed mine to the drawer under the drivers side airvent. Not a difficult job at all. Then made a little holder for it out of resin. You can see it here. Excuse the pictures, they aren't the best in the world. Might give you some ideas though. The pics are about half way down page 2... Click here Quote
