Stuey Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 clicky!! im goping to put my deposit down this afternoon!! Quote
wozza Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I want one! Unfortunately they will never release something with an interior that cool just get dulled down so much if they ever actually released it and sold it. Quote
Stuey Posted September 6, 2006 Author Posted September 6, 2006 if they keep the outside looking even remotely like that I will be very impressed. I reckon we will lose the funky doors for a start... Quote
sammys hdi vts Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 :o Its filth. I want one, now! Really wish Citroen continue to produce unusual cars, think it may have more success as it continues to see that customers really want alternative looking vehicles that dont look like boxes! Lets hope some nutter is in charge of the project and lets it be signed off for manufacture. Look at the Alfa Brera, that went from concept to production pretty quickly! Crossed fingers Quote
wozza Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 The only problem with it would be the cost. Its gonna be £30k at least im betting £40k would be a more like it though. Not many people are going to want to spend than on a Citroen. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Thats the C6 problem the price. Quote
Stuey Posted September 28, 2006 Author Posted September 28, 2006 but of an update on this....never going to see production :o the technology is going into other cars but the Metisse is dead. Shame really as I am sure there would be a lot of interest in it. full story here! Quote
hertsnminds Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Video of the concept car at the Paris motor show on the Auto Express website http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/autoexpresstv...n_cmetisse.html Why do swing wing doors hardly ever make it from concept to production? IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
wozza Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 They actually make more sense the wing type doors as well less room needed to open them etc. Where as if your in a small space in the coupe due to the doors being so long it can be murder if someone parks too close to get in the car. And that is just such a good looking car just a shame they wont make something like that. But i doubt the market would take to a french sports car like that too well. But if it had some more oomph under it id have one. Quote
Mat Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 (edited) Why do swing wing doors hardly ever make it from concept to production? If they did, just think how many fewer dings we would all have from people opening their doors too far in car parks. EDIT: Sorry Wozza, I pretty much echoed you then, without realising.
