standishgeezer Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) Just acquired car and I'm not familiar with the water and Oil Temp display as to what is 'Normal' when engine has reached operating temperature. The Owners handbook talks about 'Normal' temperature for both being within 'Zone A' which seems to be displaying [][][][][] (5 bars) for both Oil & Water. My car is displaying [][][][][][][] (7 bars) when it has reached operating temperature (when I have driven about 5 miles). Should I be at all concerned? The car has done 66,000 miles overall BTW. andymarve Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 On my 2008 2.0 Hdi exclusive, it sits around six or seven bars when warmed up. I've had this car for a year now, and it's always been the same, so I would say it was normal. Quote
