The Tin Snail - The Novel!

Hi to all! I'm delighted to have just joined. I thought some of you might be interested to learn about a new novel I've just written "loosely inspired" (I stress loosely!) by the true story of how the 2CV was created. It's called naturally enough "The Tin Snail" and comes out in May. I started writing it after I discovered the extraordinary story of how the car was developed in secret from the Germans and then hidden in barns at the outbreak of WW2. The more I researched, the more extraordinary the story became. The novel's aimed very much at kids - or adults who are kids at heart - with a lot of action and humour about outwitting Nazis and Ferdinand Porsche (!) but I hope that won't put you off!
