Basically I:

1. Look at the reflection in shop windows when my car goes past.

2. Look at the reflcetion when i go past those circular mirrors used to aid people getting out of there concealed driveways.

3. Park my car so that loads of people can see it.

4. Am annoyed that i have to park my car at the sports hall at school because it is not in direct view for EVERYONE to see.

5. I reversed my car in our driveway today because i went through a "non-scratch" car wash and it look F*cking awesome and i want people to see it head on

The list goes on and on.....

basically i would like to know if i am some freak on earth or all owners of amazingly beautiful cars do the same things?? :o

Thanks

I think you are quite normal  , well.. compared to me anyway.

I often go to my front door and open it just to admire my car on the driveway, and for some reason, I like to do this more when it is raining  or probably just another excuse to have a look at my car. :o

Even after 6 months, I still keep looking back over my shoulder once I've parked it - I just love the side profile of my VTS Coupé.

What's your favourite angle?

I'm not so keen on the 3/4 front view as it makes it more obvious that the car's quite tall and not as sleek as the side view would suggest.

Nothing wrong with looking sideways into shop windows - it's a good tip to check your brake lights anyway. I've got a long mirrored building near me, and I just love to see my own car in motion - that's before I slam over a speed ramp I didn't coming as I was looking sideways!

I have to admit that I do exactly the same, but unfortunately I won't be doing it for a little while, I had an idiot pull out and cut across the front of me this evening, crunching the drivers side wing. No-one hurt just took a little while to uncrunch cars.

Looking on the funny side he seemed very apologetic and a little wary, mind you I've just come of site wearing black boots, black trousers, white shirt and a hi viz jacket. It didn't twig till my friend pointed it out to me.

I look at my car occasionally on the drive etc.

But I also love the side profile view. And when I got the rub strips done I looked at it a little more as it just looked so much better.

But no I dont park it places for people to see etc. It just gets abandoned usually or I use a disabled space near the front of supermarkets. As I usually have my mum with me whos in a wheelchair. Also a good way to stop car park dings lol.

At the moment though the cars looking a bit neglected its covered in tree sap and leaves and other bits and pieces.

I do this all the time....even when I get out of the car with my girlfriend...sometimes she thinks I love the car more than her!

Maybe I should stop being lazy and get off my arse and clean it just been raining too much recently to be bothered. Then it would actually look nice when I look at it again. Rather than grey / brown colour it is now. My spoiler is so dirty it isnt metalic looking anymore looks matt finish.

Last cleaned day of the meet. And been parked under a tree since.

it was nothing to do with speed, it was bigger wheels and darker windows that did I think.
