Cormorin Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Hi, Is there anything you can do to a petrol C4 VTS to give it a helping hand when I chase Civic Type R's ?????? Cormorin :D Quote
ham's c4vts Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 welcome to the forum :D theres filters, remapping, cams. look for performance produts for pug 205 gti 180(shares same motor). ive just changed the air filter to a free flow K&N pannel filter, not noticed any performance gain, just an increase in induction noise .a few people with diesels (92, 110 and 138) are thinking about remapping, so i would hang on a while.cheers. wozza Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Depends how much power you want. If you want 200+ its cheaper to stick nitrous in it for those times you just want to go chasing another hot hatch etc. Otherwise its gonna get into some crazy money. £2000 will get you just over 200bhp. £3000 or so will get you to 210 - 220bhp. So as i said not cheap at all. Please do not believe the K&N filter places that say you will gain 10+ bhp from there induction kits. Your more likely to loose power from them due to heat soak. If you want an induction kit get a sealed one. Quote
