Automatic Gearbox Problems

Hello all

I am new to this, so wondering if I can get some help on a problem with my recently purchased 2001 Citroen xsara 2.0 auto.

I can only drive it in snow mode, normal mode or sport mode does not engage gear. During driving on the odd occasion, usually at roundabouts it seems to miss the gear and just rev. The car has been very well looked after, full service history & only 36000 miles on clock. I had a friend put a snap on OBD meter on it and the following faults were found: 

 

34 CAN engine Torque information. No Remote signal intermittent fault.

38 Injection throttle potentiometer (CAN) Remote signal intermittent faul

50 Automatic gearbox communication fault with engine Management (ECM) Remote signal intermittent fault.

 

Is it possible it could be a loose wire or connection ? Or does it sound more serious ??

Please help.
