Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum and Citreon ownership. I recently purchased a 2010 Citreon Dispatch 1.6 HDI. The radio was working fine, however after switching it off by the switch, it will not switch back on. I have checked the handbook and check the 20amp fuse in the right hand side of the facia. Any ideas on what to check next ? Thanks

Update - Radio suddenly worked for 20 mins then cut out again. Told possibly a wiring fault rather than the radio. Called a radio repairer who advised to check feeds, permanent and switched. Does anyone know what colour wires are for these feeds ? Thanks

Does the radio work when the engine is running, just thinking that with the engine off, the car will go into ecomode after maybe 15 minutes (depending on how well charged the battery is) and this will turn off the radio and other things to prevent the battery going flat.

Hi, the radio does not work with the engine running. The radio will not operate at all. The radio suddenly stopped working. It has since come on by its self for a little while before cutting out.

If you have a warranty with the van you could consider taking it back to the dealer. If the radio is faulty you could not simply fit one from another car since Citroen code them to the original vehicle and it would need recoding.
