C4VTS Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Just found out today that citroen have taken the glovebox off their warrenty scheme!! :o What a fucking joke!!That is the 3rd glovebox now! I think that it is ridiculous that they can just take something off their warrenty like that! My local Citroen dealer tech mentioned this to me. The glovebox problem is caused by people storing the dealer manual pack in there which gets wedged in the hinge and causes it to be jammed. The dealer pack should be stored under the front passenger seat in the storage draw. Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 dealer pack is under the seat (as it always has been!!). The only thing in the glovebox is the security bolt loosener!!! The first time it happened was my fault, too much stuff in there (still not the dealer pack though! :P ), i had an ice scraper in there. That jammed it up. This time, however, there was nothing in there that could jam it! :o Quote
wozza Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Only thing i use my glovebox for is an A to Z map and to keep my drinks cool. Everything else goes in my armwrest or the drawers on the dash. Not had any problems with my glovebox though it stuck once a little bit but i fixed it myself. Reason it got stuck was someone (my mother) decided to slam the thing and get a cd caught in it. Have to say Citroen Manchester for the most part have been rather good with fixing my car theres the odd thing they have not sorted but last time i went in to get a job done a few months ago i mentioned a couple other bits on the day and they replaced it all for me. Went in to have the brakes replaced and they also did my suspension bushes, and got rid of a squeak i had. Guy also saw there was bird muck on the bonnet and said i should clean it later before it messes the paintwork up. I didnt need to when i got the car back it had been given a wash and all the inside had been wiped down hoovered out etc. Quote

I never felt the need to move it, and it never caused any problems, and it was not that that jammed the glovebox, i suspect it was just caused by the parts used, not the contents. Quote
m4gi Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 6. Front suspension is creaking. Dealer says they cannot hear it..typical. Hello everybody, I'm new member from Croatia. :P Today I was at my dealer to replace those black rubber stuff :D on suspension because it fell down on both rear suspensions. So at my dealer I spoke with one of customers, and he was getting creaking noise from right front suspension also and they replace it. HTH. Quote
