iannez Posted October 28, 2006 Share Posted October 28, 2006 if you fit this and it is inside the wiper stroke it will fail mot and you will have to remove it. on an mot the screen is made up of 2 zones. zone a (directley infront of the driver) and zone b (any where else on the screen) if its zone a, obstruction or damage that can not be contained in a 10mm diamater circle will cause fail. zone b same as above but 40mm diamater circle. if it is a clear sunstrip it will still fail if fitted on outside as it will foul the wipers. it will pass if its clear and fitted to the inside of the screen. Not to sound horrible but i just think there possibly the biggest chav statement one can make they always look naff. Also there pretty damn useless my mum has one came as standard on her car and I cant stand the thing its totally pointless. Just ends up with a section of the glass being bright blue.
