dave&trace Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Anyone noticed if there is any difference between drivers side and passenger side temperature. On ours if you set it to 20.5 passenger and 21 driver it is the same temp .5 difference. Just wondered or are we being fussy ???????? Quote
wozza Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Mine are usually fine but noticed yesterday my drivers side was being a bit funny one minute it was red hot so i turned it off next when i put it back on it was cool and would not get warm until i turned it up. Hoping its not the beginning of the warm 1 side / cold otherside thing then again its only a small gear thats got to be changed now i think someone said. Just odd it was normal again on the return trip. However unfortunately i blew one of my speakers on the way home. But ah well it was bound to happen at some point they take a fair bit of abuse was replaced for free anyway. Quote
C4VTS Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I think in the summer I did notice a difference in the half steps, but now with the colder weather unless it's on 25 degrees I feel cold  Quote
Rich_Eason Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 This might be the way in which it controls the ambient temp. If you continually blast out heat of the vents, plus the heat from solar gain, plus the heat caused by you in the car, plus the mother in law in the back seat will gradually increase the temp in the car to way beyond that indicated on the dash. Besides which it would be flipping uncomfortable. I suspect it is where the car is trying to maintain a specific temp.... Why not stick a thermometer in there just to test? Quote
dave&trace Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 It`s only slighty colder on drivers side than passenger side when both temps are set the same.Mothering law is not a problem as i always put her in the boot. ;) Quote

She managed to pull the bag so hard it split and emptied them into the rear seat foot wells. ;) Once home I then spent about 40mins hunting the damn things down under the seats. Quote
Rich_Eason Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Only the ones that wernt soiled with carpet fluff or grease from the seat runners ;) Quote
Rich_Eason Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 As much as I am partial to French cuisine I couldn’t quite stretch myself to eat French manufactured carpet :P Quote
