Coffeejohnny Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I would appear I cannot link my phone to the car to use it hands free, however there are models in the range that allow this, as such is it possible to upgrade the system in order to be able to use it. I remember rendering the Picasso steering wheel controls obsolete by changing the stereo and as such would prefer not to be in the same position again. I would like to have the navidrive system in the car, more for the hands free usage of the phone and the use of voice automation on some systems. However that seems a very difficult thing to achieve, involving remapping of the computers etc. So is there a way to fit perhaps a good quality stereo which would allow me to do the majority of these things whilst keeping the functionality of the fob behind the steering wheel? I am sorry I am still not very good at finding old topics, as I have seen people posting on this but can't seem to find the post again. I will learn to find my way around the forum better in time. Sorry for now my being somewhat annoying. Thank you to everyone though who has put up their solutions to issues, I am slowly trying out the different options I come across. Quote
seefive Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 The most painless way would be to buy a bluetooth adaptor which plugs into the cd changer port. (search Citroen C8 bluetooth on ebay) Personally, I manage without bluetooth by having my mobile forward to the car phone - so I can pick up calls while driving. I make calls from the RT3 system using voice command. Works fine Quote
Coffeejohnny Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 I have the SX so can't make use of any of the in car benefits of the exclusive hence me trying to find a work around. I will get there eventually though. Thank you Quote
