dunc Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 i have a new model c5 2.0hdi exclusive estate - march 2005. last october when air temperatures dropped i noticed cold air dropping from under the steering column - as cold as the outside air temp. after several trips to dealer they agreed there was cold air and passed it to citroen for a fix. 12 months on the stance from citroen is its a characteristic not a fault. i paid for climatecontrol and its like driving with the window open! uk say its with france. i'm told that they have cars on their fleet with same problem! i cant face another winter like this. anyone else got this problem? you will know if you have believe me - when its minus 2 outside dont plan for a family.. odd thing is as soon as i hit recycle cabin air the cold air stops instantly. only problem with that is i suffocate through lack of oxygen! anyone help? sarrybaldy Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Only thing I can suggest is experiment with the ventilation settings.if i have air coming out of the middle vent on my 02 Climate control Estate it is cold, fresh outside air, however, if I only use up and down, then the climate control works pretty well!!! God, these cars are quirky!!!!! Quote
Guest Visa10E Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 My 02 C5 2.2 HDi Exclusive seems to be doing the same thing, on the face vents only, outside air is coming in no matter what i do with the temp guage apart from putting it on 28 Quote
john hannon Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Exactly the same problem with my January 2005 2.0 HDI Exclusive Estate. Great car though. Regards all John Quote
