cargoman Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Morning to all, can someone help please. Have a C5 Auto diesel Estate, first reg June 2008, how can I determine the model mark 2 and or 3? I believe the model changed during that year. The reason for the above is that I have a broken cable in the front offside electrical window winder mechanism and want to replace like for like and I think I need the precise C5 model mark/number to order the full kit. I mention full kit having read other reader's comments with similar issues on the Forum. The regulator appears ok as the motor does turn and whir away without the glass moving. Again having read the worthwhile instructions from the Forum as to how to remove the panel I can see that the lower cable has rusted through and snapped. Is there a replacement kit for the actual lifting mech, not spare parts but a full replacement kit (ready to install) and from where the part can be ordered. Your reader was right about the flimsy polystyrene panel within, had to take a scalpel to it to ease it off in one piece! I would appreciate any information regarding the aforementioned. Quote
seefive Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 The Mk 3 has a fixed hub steering wheel, the Mk2 has a conventional wheel. Quote
