dflflack Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Hello Has anyone fitted the new Phillips LED headlamp bulbs to their 2010 on C5? I am considering it but am not sure if their is enough clearence between the bulb and the screw on headlamp buld housing covers. Mine is a 2010 3.0 litre V6 Hdi with the battery in the back so the replacement of the bulbs is relatively easy. Edited December 30, 2016 by dflflack Quote
Rookie2 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 HiNot sure about the clearance but, have you heard of others fitting LED's to their C5 ?. I only ask because on some "CAN" vehicles, non standard bulbs can cause a problem. Quote
dflflack Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 I have 'cambus' side, tail and Daylight driving LEDS all installed and working correctly. I did have a problem witht he stop/tail bulbs and had to revert to the originals. The daylight driving LED's were purchased from LEDperf a french compony on the internet, they are nice an bright and hopefully will not need replacing for a long time( the original G4 tungsten bulbs in a fancy holder do not last long and you have to remove the bumper to install them).
