jrterror Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 (edited) Hi. I've just discovered the screen washers don't work on my 2015 Dispatch. I'm hoping its just the fuse that's blown. When I press the stalk in the cab to activate the washers, nothing happens, I can not hear the pump working either. The fuse box is not very easy to get to. And it appears impossible to fully remove the lid to enable you to view the box properly. Anyway, I have an image in my owners manual of the fuse box, but its not printed very clearly, so I can not work out which of the fuses belongs to the washer pump. Anybody know which is the correct fuse. I can't find any other diagrams and I don't want to just take out and inspect all the 10 amp fuses because they are all difficult to get too. Any help would be appreciated. Ta Edited January 28, 2017 by jrterror Quote
paul.h Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Welcome to the forum. Just had a look at the handbook on the service.citroen site and the engine fuse box picture is not clear (page 138). It gives fuse F3 10 amp as the one for the washer pump so will be a red one. It also says to tilt the fuse box to make it easier to change a fuse. It lists it as being between a 15 (blue) and a 20 (yellow) amp fuse so this may make it easier to find. Chances are the fuse may have failed if the washer piping or jets were frozen when trying to use the pump - we had a C3 that would do this so if I suspected they may be frozen, I would just try a quick dab of the washer switch and if no water came out would not bother until it warmed up to save the fuse blowing. jrterror Posted January 29, 2017 Author Posted January 29, 2017 Many thanks for taking the time to look into this. It is much appreciated. Would you be kind enough to send me a link to the page you are referring to. It could prove useful for other things. Thanks again Quote
paul.h Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 The handbook can be seen/copied/saved in sections from the service.citroen site. You may need to select your language first and then your vehicle http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ The page I looked at should be the same as in your handbook but I do not think you can link to any particular page but this is the address for page 138 http://service.citroen.com/ddb/#/140 If you want to save a handbook at the top right you can do it as a pdf.
