rwatson1 Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 Hello, Is there an online owner's manual somewhere? If not, could someone tell me the recommended service schedule for the pluriel, what should be done at what mileage, etc.. My manual is in German, and I have yet to acquire an English one! Thanks Ryan Quote
hertsnminds Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 The service schedule is every 20,000 miles (for normal use). Every time you turn on the ignition you will see a spanner and a number of miles next to it (in the speedo display window), this is the number of miles until the next service is due. Becasue the service interval is so long you pretty much have to do everything (apart from timing belts) at every service. Oil, spark plugs, pollen filter, brake pads, etc etc etc. The owners handbook recommends new wiper blades every 12 months. You should be able to purchase an English handbook from any Citroen dealer, just got to the parts dept. Tells you all sorts of stuff you should know and some that is of no interest at all. rwatson1 Posted October 4, 2004 Author Posted October 4, 2004 I still don't have an english owners manual. Can someone tell me what, if anything, should be done at the first service (around 1500 km). I know a general inspection is in order, but do any fluids need to be changed this early? Thanks, Ryan Quote
pork_pie Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 No fluids are changed. Just the levels for oil, coolant, power steering and screenwash fluid are checked. Other jobbies for this freebie include checking the conditions of pipes and casings and checking the autodiagnostic memories ie any fault codes detected which of course are sorted out via the software upgrade.
