Rich_Eason Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Just been browsing t'internet and stumbled across these pics on Parkers LINK Now forgive my ignorance as to be honest I have never really noticed/looked, but do Auto C4's have different steering wheels to manuals? I have just never noticed the cut outs in the steering wheel spokes. Is this to enable you to find the flappers behind if you cant find them by feeling? My VTS having the solid spokes.... Or are the steering wheel designs different across the range? I know they are "trimmed" differently e.g. leather/plastic Not sure I'm liking all the fake "bling" surrounding Auto Selector/ Paddles and steeringwheel. Quote
Welshguy Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I dont think any of us have an Auto so never come across this before: http://www.parkers.co.uk/imagecache/file/630/archive/Citroen/C4%20Coupe/IMG_5814.JPG Not sure I'm liking it either when compared to the "original" steering wheel... Quote
Stuey Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 dont like automatics...driving for beginers  Quote
Rich_Eason Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Not sure I like the gear stick either....fake chrome  :o Its got the fake carbon fibre dash panel So does that make it a VTR? Always reassuring to see that they have also taken a picture of the "if you rev it hard enough the taco glows red" selling point.... http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7567/dsc06910bg6.jpg Still dont like the steering wheel, I guess the holes are provided for you to keep your thumbs busy as they arnt asisting changing gears? Stuey Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 the VTR and VTR+ has carbon panels, but the VTS is meant to have the brushed steel... Quote
Rich_Eason Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 It has something metalic and cold to touch, what it is actually made of I'm not sure I'd guess some kind of plated plastic. Quote
Stuey Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 brushed steel "effect" is what I should have said... Quote
