Hi,

I'm about to get my very first C4, it's an HDI VTR+ 5 door. I have a Peugeot 307 5 door at the moment with a tow bar for my bike rack. I don't know whether to take it with me or leave it on the car. Does anyone know if the 307 and C4 tow bars are the same?

Welcome to the forum!

I have no idea about the tow bar, however in the C4 manual it tells you for the specific body style/vehilcle type the dims for the offset and spacings of all the mountings. These could then be sized up with what you already have and go from there?

However....

My car is in the garage at the mo, its cold and dark out....

Can dig them out for you tomorrow if your in no hurry or unless someone else knows?

Have a look here

E01-92 for a C4

E01-92a for a 307

Not sure what the difference is?

Or if you search for SKU number 417800 then it is same both C4 and 307

033-294 Detachable is also same for C4 and 307

I don't know one end of a tow bar from another and I hate caravans.

ive got a demountable tow bar on mine, had to have it as ive rear parking sensors, if i remember the instructions show it goes on a 307 as its the same floor plan as C4. so you should be ok but i would think its better to get one exactall for your C4 as you may have to butcher the bumper to fit your old one.

Thanks all.

Looking around the web, irrespective of whether it's the same, I would need to take the bumper off the car to extract it, not something I'd like to do between now and the weekend when I pick up my new car. Not the most exciting C4 looking at all your pictures, but it is in Wicked Red.
