For those of you a little more daring you try taking door pod off and putting back on. Theres a small rubber running along the top of the door if it puts too much pressure on the window it does not close properly...only know from putting it back on incorrectly when i changed speakers and having issues with the window.

Put it back on again and all was fine.

Unrelated or perhaps not Wozza?

I thought I read once something on here about an issue with rattling door liners especially effecting the passenger door, and think it may have been you who made a comment abotu a fix?

Any thoughts ideas....or have I just made this all up out of a figment of my imagination (not difficult)

I have this problem on mine and seems to only require a couple of extra fixings in and arround the speaker area to make it stop. If I drive lean over and push the panel I can get the rattle to stop but obviously isnt the most practical driving posistion.

By the way having the stereo on just make the panel vibrate even more....obviously.

You and Seb, you name dropper you! :(

If he does a runner with your gf, I bet you don't catch him :o

I have been for the last four years, but am missing this year as Citroen aren't there fully, but look forward to seeing the C4 next year though.

Now get out there and clean before you get shot :D

I am actually thinking of leaving the car to get REALLY dirty. The procedure goes like this at the moment:

1. Car is dirty

2. Get car cleaned

3. Have clean car for two/three days

4. Car looks silly slightly dirty

One big circle! :(

Some cars look really cool REALLY dirty, so i am going to see how long i can stick it out before i buckle and have to clean it! :o

My other jobs list that need fixing:-

1) Auto headllights/Guide me home option missing from menu.

2) Rattle from nearside front.

3) No Picture of car when Tyre pressures low to show which tyre.

4) Suspect water leak onto front passenger mat.

5) Anti-pinch on front windows causing windows to not shut at speed.

6) Boot does not always spring fully open.

7) Steering vibration between 65 and 80MPH (Had wheels balanced)

Those are ones I can think of so far.

I still have no visual warning of reverse sensors, and been told not possible by 2 dealers, maybe they will tell me I can't have the visual tyre pressure warning either? So won't be too happy if it should be there?

Ok guys and girls just got back from dealer, but have to go back Monday as some parts are needed and not in stock. :(

I need 2 new headlamp washers, as they explained to me that the seal bit had fallen out the bottom.

I need 2 front shock absorbers to fix the rattle from nearside front.

I need 1 replacement shock for the boot that does not spring open properly.

I had the main BSI computer reprogrammed to fix the missing auto headlights menu.

The water leak was caused by an incorrectly fitted plug near the heater inside the car. It was fitted upside down apparently.

The steering vibration was caused by incorrect wheel balancing, and said that one weight was fitted in wrong place and another was missing even though I just had it done recently. They said to me if it is still not right they will not charge me for the balancing, so I will test it out over the weekend.

They said they can't do anything about the windows not shutting properly at speed as it's caused by air pressure that affects the anti-pinch system.

Oh, and the visual warning of individual tyre pressures is only on cars with a colour display. The handbook is not in colour so can't tell from that.

So I am hopefully taking my C4 back on Monday to have the new parts fitted.

It's a good job the car is under warranty. :o

Utter Horse Sh1te :(

Although very small you will get an outline on the display of the car and a small black block of pixels relevent to the corner of the car that is punctured. The black blob flashes which shows you the punctured tyre.

From what I can see of your avatar you have the same display as me and mine shows exactly the corner that is in trouble.

Can I be the first person to write...

"I wish my girlfriend was this dirty" in your rear window?

Such class and wit from the local yoof..... :(

Dr. Diogonostics had a look at your clutch yet matey? :o

I've actually ran out of shampoo and being that the nearest Halfords are surrounded by xmas shopping hell that is my reason. I cant think of anyhting worse than sit in traffic full of nuggets all scrabbling for half a meter of road.

If you want a dirty car your gonna have to go hit some bad puddles or something and get the dirt caked up the sides. Only time it looks somewhat cool Had dirt all over my rear windows etc last winter when i was buggering about on the ice at the industrial estate it stayed like that for weeks cause it was to sodding cold to clean it.

The car is booked in for next week.

My daily drive is a country road, so there are many beastly puddles, and the lane we live on can get muddy as hell! :(

I like that saying "I wish my girlfriend was as dirty as this!"!!!! :o :D

I bet you do... :D

Good to hear it! Hope it all goes ok...

My ex would have been dirtier.

My Ex was just full of the stuff that would have been liberally applied to the side and underside of the car as well as being often found in fields of cows in small steaming piles.

Edit: Car is now clean by the way. It took 2 washes round to get the crap off and even then it was so smeary Barry Scott couldnt have shifted it so went over it again and now nice and clean. Pointless exercise really as the weather for next week is pants but hey it looks good for all of 5mins.....

Our first C4 VTR+ had rear only parking sensors fitted and showed outline of car on screen.

Worked from new without having to ask for it activating.

Hope this helps.

Every little helps

Thanks for the information.

Did anyone that bought from new have to specify they wanted the parking sensor display?

no, i read it on this forum, went back to dealer and they enabled it. mechanic told me sales should give you a tick sheet to tick off what you require enabling before you take delivery, but no one in sales knows about it

typical citroen dealers! :P
