Citroen_C3_Lad Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I have a 52 reg Citroen C3 Exclusive - 1.4 HDI 16v 92bhp version. I've seen on another topic someone explaining how to cycle through all the MPG options, and thought I'd try it on my own car, but nothing happened. Surely because I've got the top of the range C3, I must have this option?? Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Yours dosen't have it im afraid. Only on the models from 2004. Citroen do tend to add things or take away things. Like my 05 C3 Exclusive didn't have the Electric Folding Mirrors nor the storage Draw under the CD Player. I had to buy a draw for £26. I am 100% sure yours don't have the trip computer as my brother had a 52 2003 C3 1.4i SX Auto and his didn't have it. All the C3s had the trip computer from 2004. In 2004 aswell Citroen also gave the SX and Exclusive a Multi Display Screen and also the C3 SX was given Digital Air Con and Auto Wiper/Lights on all models not just on the 1.4i SX Auto. Quote
mitch Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 My '02 Exclusive HDi was one of the first UK cars when it was delivered in June 2002. There is no trip computer, but does have the control button on the stalk. I talked to my local service manager about this a couple of years ago. Apparently - and this is the story as I got it - the "trip computer" is in fact present in early C3s, but the French forgot to include MPH in the software code. With the production line already rolling, Citroen simply decided to delete this feature from UK cars until someone managed to sort things out. So it took about two years before trip computers became standard. Quote
Guest Andrew Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Mine has a trip computer, registered 08/2003. If it was missing from the software then could it just be updated to get it there? And out of curiosity, does it work if you switch to metric mode? Quote
citroeneddie Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Our C3 2004 Desire had side airbags, front height adjustors to both seats, seat back pockets, and extra 12v socket to front of centre console. All this was deleted later on in the year  but it became all one external colour, oooohhh  Tight ar**s at Citroen. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 The New Style C3 Desire even has electric mirrors now and a multi display screen. Quote
