dave&trace Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 wondering if it is possible to after fit full glass roof ?anybody any ideas seen this somewhere abroad but can`t remember where!! Quote
wozza Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Not sure about the standard citroen one would require a fair bit of work. But there are aftermarket sunroofs which might go in. Although never seen one as big as the citroen one. Just cant imagine it being easy chopping roof out and putting the glass in. Quote
Rich_Eason Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Most monocoque chassis built cars rely on the roof as the main structural element as well as the floor to retain ridigity. I know on a Mini when you cut into the roof the whole lot just flops everywhere. No idea how this effects the C4 however I'd imagine those fitted with the full glass roof are specific manufactured bodies. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Citroen Accessories list a manual and automatic standard sunroof as an aftermarket, but I think like the others say its unlikely you will get a full glass roof; I would imagine there is some chassis work to be done on that to give it full structural strength back.
