Has anyone had a Bluetooth installed by a Citroen dealer as opposed to having it installed at the factory before delivery? I understand that it will provide the same function - i.e. it will provide hands-free for a mobile - but isn't quite the same as the Bluetooth option which is factory-fitted.

What does it include exactly, what does it look like? The dealer tells me that it will do the same as the factory-fitted Bluetooth, but I want some confirmation.

One of the guys here did it but as I remember it was not cheap. Means new headunit etc from citroen so best part of around £300 - £400 as i remember it. Can get a better after market solution for that.

Im an Alpine fan as well. But Pioneer also offer some great headunits with bluetooth and able to take an ipod for under £200. There about the best 2 makes you can buy of the known brands not sure if becker have a bluetooth option with ipod etc as well.

The reason I'm looking at the post-factory fit bluetooth is because I have asked for this feature to be bundled in the deal for a new car.

I'm not quite sure what it looks like, as I've been told that it is both a bluetooth kit and also a "parrot squauker" and has a screen. None of this really clarifes to me what it actually is, but I guess so long as it gives me handsfree for my mobile then it acheives the goal.
