Stuey Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 When me and Ham went to a local car meet we parked next to each other. Both cars where sprakling and they drew quite a big crowd of people, mainly around the VTS but we dont talk about that :D Quote
Rich_Eason Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 When I got my C4 1.4i VT (Before I upgraded to the 2.0 VTS) this guy was peering through my drivers door when i was walking back to my car - he looked startled when he saw me approaching him and then said "Thats a sweet car mate, I love that dashboard". I felt pelased with myself, but then couldnt help but think was he actually trying to steal it (or looking for something to steak inside)!?? and came up with some crap when he saw me approaching! Guess ill never know haha Had a similar situation with a couple having a good old forecourt wander round the car whilst park in town. Also we pulled up in a car park once and a couple were giving us "evils"...as we got out thinking they were about to come and have a go about something they came over and asked if we would mind quickly letting them have a look inside and see the boot (?!) When parked in a car park I think C4's do tend look the business compared to others, for a start the bonet profile always sticks out more than other euroboxes! Quote
Stuey Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 there is indeed no other car like the C4 on the roads at the moment (for the price tag) If I parked a DB9 or Carrera GT at Tesco's then I would expect a crowd... Quote
Rich_Eason Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Welcome, looks good. Better without the spoiler. Just adds drag, increases fuel consumption and looks a bit naff IMO.Think I'll duck for cover now. :D However...next to Foci's and Astraw's et al nothing else looks smoother than a C4. :D Quote
Rich_Eason Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Did you get round to finishing off that pic of the shopping trolly Stu? Quote
Stuey Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I got far to creative when I was doing it. I have been doing some very heavy photoshop work recently so I cant just drop some wheels on the roof! I will do a simply one later. All our work servers have just broke so its tools down for a bit so I will crack on with it. fimished it now http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/LooseMoose/800.jpg I will do it upside down later... Rich_Eason Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Excellent Job you'd never know... I had a look at lunch and noticed that the tuning market has cottoned on to the application of castors to the VXR and now offer an uprated braking kit... http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/452/castorglidesc9sn4.jpg Not bad for £7.50 I thought....
