ham's c4vts Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 The FCS is on in july, anyone interested? http://www.xsarasportsclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4875 Quote
Stuey Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Would definatly be up for that! Wozza and Dave&Trace went last year. Lets see if we can get a better turn out than our meet last year eh?? Quote
wozza Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 At a different place this year as well apparently supposed to give better view of the track etc. And making it a little less dangerous for people. We could go under the other C4 site though we have started to change it a bit in reflection of meets and show season etc. The guy who runs the site is currently in talks with a few tuning companies like demon tweaks, angel tuning etc to get us discounts on parts / remaps etc. So for the £5 fee it costs to join the other forum you will get a lot more off a remap if you want one. What he is trying to do now anyway. If it works should be quite good. Were also trying to get insurance companies to give discounts for being part of an owners club few other places get it so worth a try. But i will most likely come along. Quote
ham's c4vts Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 as long as it dont clash with Moto Gp at Donnington ill go Quote
Stuey Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I'm pretty sure it doesnt mate, MotoGP is mid August I believe its a couple of weeks before the F1 at Silverstone. I dont mind who we go as to be honest. I had a look at the C4 owners forum and it looks a whole load better. If you do manage to get discounts then I will definatly pay to join. I did notice that you a whoring your modding skills over there to Wozza :( Quote
Rich_Eason Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 We could go under the other C4 site... I had a look at the C4 owners forum and it looks a whole load better. Whats this? :( Have you guys left me out of something I dont know about? ;) Booo hoo Quote
wozza Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 http://c4owners.co.uk/ Few of us use both sites. Its basically knowledge from this site passed onto that site. I just seem to copy and paste most things KFK says lol when someone asks a question. Quote
Rich_Eason Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Ah good to see our discussions support others  Just had a flick thorough and prefer this site  Quote

Stuey Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 its at Rockingham motor speedway in Northamptonshire...im still up for it. I think we should go under the C4 Owners flag as we will get a stand. Quote
wozza Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Premier membership thing is nearly sorted now as well. From what I have been told my stickers etc are in the post. And he is still getting discounts sorted out. best thing is if your all members and yuou want remaps you get a discount and if a few order them at a local area you get even bigger discounts. Quote
wozza Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Your ecu contains a map which controls air and fuel etc by changing it you can increase power give smoother power delivery get rid of engine flatspots gain torque and improve mpg. Theres quite a few manufacturers of cars now wising up to this and starting to offer them on the options list for cars. There damn near undetectable as well without specilist equipment to check. Power increases can be pretty good. the 1.6 16v petrol will gain around 12bhp and around 15ft lb´s. the 1.6 HDI will gain over 30bhp and good gains in torque too. And the 2.0 HDI can hit 180bhp with the remap making them damn quick. The power band is usually moved further up the rev range but mid range torque is increased. Quote
idlerobbo Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I want my 2.0HDI Done! How would I go about doing this!??? Quote
wozza Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 www.C4owners.co.uk A lot of us use both forums this one for chatting that one mainly for other bits and pieces sign up for the £5 membership when its all sorted and it should pay for itself when the discounts are sorted out. Then just a case of getting www.angeltuning.co.uk to sort it for you. Quote
