ham's c4vts Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 are you sure its not down to pure acceleration :) ;) Quote
wozza Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 No as at the time I noticed it the car was still on my drive after being dropped off by Citroen from the clutch replacement. I just have not had time to get the car in since with going away and that guy going into me etc. Spent a week in the body shop getting sorted. Quote
Z3M Roadster Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 My c4 was collected yesterday by Colliers Citroen in Islington and replaced by a 1.0 C3 which stinks of cigarettes and has a filthy interior. My car is having the injector seals replaced as I can constantly smell diesel in the cabin and have the software upgraded on the service indicator. I called this morning and was told that the car would be delivered back to my office this afternoon.....good news. Until....an hour later, mechanic rings saying that he has broken an injector pipe and therefore will have to replace that tomorrow when the part arrives. So another 40mile trip to the office in a C3, joy. And what are the odds that it still smells of diesel and the service indicator resets when I get the car back Quote
ham's c4vts Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 well your vauxhall looks clean though :D Quote
Stuey Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 just drive the VX mate, it will be a bit more exciting  Quote
Z3M Roadster Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I took it out yesterday afternoon as I got fed up with the C3, best of all the fuel goes on expenses Quote
dave&trace Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 guess what citroen dealership have ordered wrong part for our car so it is still in garage !!!!come on citroen !!!!! Quote
Rich_Eason Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 you couldnt make it up could you?.... :D I think in general gone are the days of being able to leave something in the capable hands and relying on a vendor to deliver a good quality service. If its any consolation... We ordered a new dining table in June 2006 from a well know reputable high street brand - we are on table number 5 as every one that has been delivered has been significantly damaged. Tuesday I was advised that no more replacements are avalible or going to be avalible and that they cannot replace the table....would I "accept £50 as a gesture of good will?" The blame has now been focused at the delivery company and "I" need to take it up with them. :D I think the key thing is no matter how p****d off you may feel keep cool and level headed as at the end of it all it will "all come out in the wash" :) Take the bun fight out on the management not the bloke behind the desk...as he's only doing what his manager tells him to do or his manager should at least monitor what he is doing.
