Well, I've just celebrated the 30th anniversary of my 21st Birthday.... ;)

So, at my time of life, Insurance Companies are all but paying me to use me car....one of the few advantages of getting, err, more Senior in years....

That said, I feel like an 18 year old....mentally of course as growing up is always optional.... :)

cool Rich is a spy!! will we see you in the new series of Spooks??

Occupation can be a killer on the old insurance, im a photographer and that falls under "design" which puts about 10% on.

Does anyone know what effect working at an abattoir has on your driving?

Does it put up or down your insurance quotes. I always see this at the top of the occupation list and always makes me wonder...

Gees mental note get out more :)

Of course Stu, "you are always hearing of Designers especially photographers driving like complete nutjobs"

You should have been a Graphic Designer...they drive soooooo much more sensibly.... ;)

Well it seems I get stung for being in London! Mine was about £ 600 for a diesel vts with 3years no claims, 24 year old male teacher with Admiral! I havent had the ecu remapped because that would have put the insurance up to £900 if I told them. Ouch.

32 and £620 to insure leon cupra r with norwich union and thats with 7 yrs no claims. also bacause i work in a garage they will not cover me to drive any other car as most do. also have tigra, corsa, 106xsi and a dirty old diesel zx that i use for work. all cost around £300 to insure. traders policy next year i think. also have a race prep gsxr1000 that only cost £320 a year fully comp and includes brake down cover.

yes m8. put in my r1 last year for it but its not a nice bike to ride. 160 rwhp. just wants to wheelie all the time even in 4th at about 135mph (track days). just means i have to go every where in 6th and it still tries to throw me of over rises. new r1 this year i think.

23 2yrs NCB free at moment but lowest quote i have found is £700 for me classed as a student. Used to be over £2k back where i used to live...the pleasures of living in city centre Manchester.

I did get a quote on a VTS a few months ago for £1140 though. and insurance should drop again come february when i get another yr NCB.
