mike_ro Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Yeap. I'm still puzzled about this. I just think i'm gonna tell the guys from Citroen to call off the order. Today it worked too without any issues. Ouch! Bad hit Stuey (the pic)! Did you sort it our already? It looks quite damaged. Quote
Welshguy Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 mine likes to jump from CD to radio and back again, no idea what causes it but it is just a push of a button to sort it. Mine does this as well, but I thought it was an issue with my after-market Alpine stereo? Quote
Stuey Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Ouch! Bad hit Stuey (the pic)! Did you sort it our already? It looks quite damaged. its all better now cheers mate. Got nudged on country road by a plonker trying to overtake me, I went up a bank and through some trees. It came back a couple of weeks ago but I was advised not to wash it for a week or so whilst the paint hardens and sets and the weather hasnt been good enough to give it a full Stuey and Ham valet yet. Ugly stuff Stuey! Hope you are pleased with how they managed to fix it. I'm permanently stressed out about keeping my beauty on safe ground. Guess the first thing is to watch out for all creeps and to be as much as predictive as you can. On the other hand, when it happens ... it happens. Mine does this as well, but I thought it was an issue with my after-market Alpine stereo? Today on my way to work it was just fine again.... Maybe there were just some connections out of place, and when they checked the whole unit, they somehow managed to fix them. Considering that...I guess they should have realize that...and not order a new one. Anyway, if I have somekind of a cause for this I'll share.... Hey Welshguy! I've seen you on our forum in Romania. :D Hope we can be of some help for you. Cheers,Mihai/mike_ro/shomoyoque :D Quote
C4VTS Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 The CD/MP3 will jump to radio if you have RDS/TA traffic announcements switched on. But I presume some are doing it with no traffic? Quote
mike_ro Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 The CD/MP3 will jump to radio if you have RDS/TA traffic announcements switched on. But I presume some are doing it with no traffic? Mine had always had the RDS/TA announcements switched on, and btw on my way back home yesterday the issue came on again. :D I have tryed with 3 cd's and got the same result. I'll try today with RDS/TA off. Thinking of it now, when mine switches on to the radio it switches to the single radio station preseted that has the traffic announcements option. So this could be it. :D ;) Thanks everyone for your answers! Quote
Woof Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 RD4N2M does play MP3's. RD4N1 does not.Are you sure that was MP3 and not just a CDR with CD audio converted from MP3 which NERO7 does very well.If it's an MP3 CD then you would have about 8 normal CD's on one disk. An audio CD only holds about 20 tracks at the very most. C4VTS I stand corrected. I tried again and burnt a 15 cd MP3 compilation, this was spat out immediately. You are correct in my haste I must have picked the wrong NERO programWOOF Quote
