As you know I was taken out by just before Christmas and mangled the side of the car. Again as most of you know there is a stricken cargo ship just of Lizard Point in Cornwall that is shedding hundreds of containers. This ship has been to Spain picking up car parts, the 3 quarter panel for my car is coming from Spain and was due in the country Friday just gone. The ship sank Thursday afternoon...now it may be me putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but what are the chances that the side of my motor is bobbing around in busy shpping lanes??

lightning striking twice anyone?? :)

also pics of cars upside down oin the beach with containers on top...such a shame and me and the gf visit Branscombe alot, just hope nothing else comes of it...

Could also look on the bright side stuey "if" you panel was on there it will be smelling sweet and clean with all the shampoo and perfume that went over board.

Anyhow....

I'm not sure how Citroen will warrent the anti corrosion warenty after spending a weekend in the English Channel. :)

I love this quote off the BBC Website...

Branscombe Police's Pc Steve Speariett said..... "Around 50 BMW motorbikes were carried off the beach last night," he added.

Good to see they are on the ball to stop people looting, I suspect he is the only PC at Branscombe Village and moving 50 BMW motorbikes up a shingle beach is no mean feat!

I'm sure it will be ok Stuey...

I reckon PC Steve Wothisname was helping carry those 50 bikes off the beach!! £15K a pop if you went to buy one from the dealers.

yeah it will be fine, quite funny too. Thats ship is leaking oil but the ammount of shampoo floating around should sort that. I bet there isnt the slightest hint of dandruff on the local seagull population

I bet he was as well...

I bet there will be sea salt contaminated perfume being sold in the local shops soon....

Judging by the size of Branscombe I'm sure they wouldnt pay a beat officer to solely patrol the streets, it'll be completed in about 5mins the place is tiny.

Still think its a shame, I'm not an Environmentalist by any stretch however hope it dont dump its load. It is a great part of the world down that way and would recommend a visit to anyone...
