xavtia Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 (and yes you're right...visibility is pretty poor. I find the sensors just help you park a bit faster really, which helps!) I found the visibility worse in the xsara, but find this slightly harder to park, the window makes cars behind seem closer but dont need parking sensors to park and its always parked on the street as I live in the city centre with limited on street parking Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Funny you come to mention the Rain and light Sensor. I will have to keep an eye on the one on my Brothers C3 Exclusive as 2 days last week it was a really Sunny Day and the lights were on. Both mine and his car was outside my house so I started mine lights didn't come on. Started his they came on. Which they shouldn't ave as it was Sunny. Quote
Stuey Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Stu said Lee_Marsh has golf tee's on his seat so he can rest his balls on whilst driving!  feck the what?!?! How did you know about the golf tees for my balls?? Have you been peeeeeking again, Mr Stuey? What would Mrs. Stuey have to say about this?? where the hell did this come from?? She doesnt care what I get up to anyway. Quote
c14vts Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Rear parking sensors on my vts were standard if i could of not had them i wouldnt have, but now im just lazy a rely on them .saves me havin to turn round at all now............ that bogey picker how much is that ............ want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike5483 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I find it really easy to park, I mean, you back up til the car behind moves, then you drive forward til the car infront moves, then your in!!! Quote
wozza Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I find the coupe so easy to reverse park. Due to the straight window if you think you can reach out and touch the other car through the rear window your about close enough usually around a foot or 2 left of space behind. Front is the same But im used to having to park it as close to my front door as possible eaving just enough room for my legs for the other cars to get on the drive. Only a smallish drive and got to get 3 cars on there not fun. Also means i have to move usually 2 of them when i need to get my mum outside because of the wheelchair lol. Thus in summary...parking sensors are for girls or people who need to learn how to park properly again  :D Quote
ham's c4vts Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Cant help it if they are free :D would of liked somthing else in stead like golf tee's in lees car on what Stu was saying  Quote
Stuey Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 would of liked somthing else in stead like golf tee's in lees car on what Stu was saying  What the hell are you talking about you mentalist?? Quote
lee_marshuk Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 where the hell did this come from?? She doesnt care what I get up to anyway. Stu's gettin tetchy because he didn't have the golf tee option :D and now he's suffering from ball ache :D Thus in summary...parking sensors are for girls or people who need to learn how to park properly again Bah nah totally disagree. People who neeeed parking sensors are girls or people who need to learn how to park properly. People who use parking sensors just like to save a bit of time when squeezing into narrow spaces. My sensors were broken for a month or so...oddly didn't really miss them that much except when trying to fit into a space a mini would have struggled with  lol Quote
