 My c8 (2.2 petrol captain seat 03 plate ) has got a problem when i leave the car, turn off the lights they wont go off even after ive locked car and set the alarm. The auto light setting on the car registers that it is engaged but it doesnt register that it is off and even if i wait 15-20 minutes they still wont go off.even if i disconnect the battery as soon as i clip the terminal back on the lights come straight back on (they are xenon lights) with no key in the ignition and light light stalk set to off. is there somewhere to reset the lights? thanks for any help you can give me LEE

disconnect the battery for 10 min and it will reset everything. dont mess around with the lights themselves or you could get a nasty shock (enough to kill you!!!!!!!!!). try turning off the ignition and turning your lights on then back off.

thanks for taking the time to help iannez .i tried completly disconnecting the battery for 15 mins but as soon as i reconnected the the battery terminals the headlamp dipped beam came back on (no key in the ignition or any lights turned on,on the light stalk ) only the headlamp dipped beam bulbs where on. So i removed the headlight fuses No F9 F10 F11 & F12 started the engine turned off the engine and replaced them and this seems to have worked i dont know ive done but touch wood it seems ok. Thanks again for your help mate.I love this car its great for me and my family but it has to be the most complex of cars i have ever owned CHEERS LEE
