disconnect battery for 10 min.

I've now noticed that the speedo needle is on the bottom side of the 'stop'. It can't move clockwise round the dial. It seems to have happened since I used jump leads to start another car.

Someone on carsurvey.org claims to have fixed this on a Xsara by driving at 115 MPH ! ;

I have had mine for 18 months, no probs apart from when my stepdad used it to jump start his car. The needles went round the other side of the resting pins on the speedo. Problem solved by driving upto 115mph! Needles fliped round the other way.

I don't know if there's a legal way....
