Guest jay Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007  Just got a 2002 C5 2.0 HDi with 68000 on the clock (genuine full Citroen service history). At least once a day get a clunck from the gearbox, the service light comes on and Auto Gearbox Fault comes up. The car then seems to go into some form of limp home mode (feels like only 3rd/4th left) and is very slow to pull away from stationary. If I switch off the ignition and restart, system resets and all is fine till the next time. Any ideas what may be wrong? The car is still under a warranty but the dealer I bought from is "unable" to find the fault, even after having had the car back for a week and used half a tank of fuel!! Some ideas to guide the dealer would be appreciated. Quote
Guest rowls Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Theres 2 solenoids on the gearbox which have been known to pack up. Dont know if it would cause your symptons though. might be worth a look! Quote
