C3_Lad Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 My Citroen C3 Exclusive has come back from the garage this afternoon, and I noticed that my lights were on all the time in auto mode - even in the daytime - how do I change it so they only come on at dusk? Quote
iannez Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 must have had download and it has re-configured bsi. will need to go back on diag tool to turn off day running lights. Quote
stimulator Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 You can disable the lights by putting the key in the ignition turn it on to the first position, and then pressing the end button on the left hand stalk. You will hear a beep. Now wehn you start the engine DO thelight still come ON. If they don't then try setting ot back on to see if the problem has gone. if they are still ON then you either have a sensor problem or as the other reply says the computer needs resetting by the garage. C3_Lad Posted March 4, 2007 Author Posted March 4, 2007 thanks stimulator - I did what you said, and it worked! Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I think my brother has a dodgy sensor on his as when its sunny my lights are off and 95% of the time his are on. Quote
Guest CitTone Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I have the "on all the time" syndrome, too, on an Exclusive with auto-headlights but cancelling with the stalk control simply turns the lights off until the next time the car is started, when they come back on again. Does this require a BSI setting change via dealer, or will a simple reboot by disconnecting the battery do the trick? By the way, Stim, do you know where the sensor is? I had a feeling that the one behind the mirror was for the wipers, but may be wrong. Odd thing, though, is the stalk override - surely if you do this, "off" should be the default from that point onwards, rather than "on/auto"?. Quote
