wozza Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Welcome to the boards mate. Never heard of the rubber problems before myself but then again I have a coupe and there seems to be more coupe owners here than 5 doors it seems. Glad the forum has been a help to you what were here for. Quote

C4VTS Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I have a problem with my rear doors. The problem is, that I don't have any.  Actually it's not a problem, because less moving parts, less problems. :P  Although I did have a non-moving part fall off. ;) Quote
Guest Freeflyer Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Whats the SX Model like? Good Equipment etc? Thanks Guys and gals? for the welcome. The sx is ok , decent spec ,just have a couple of slight issues, one has been posted here before about the slightly nosey engine first thing a bit rattly till warmed up and i get a bit of what i would call excessive feedback from the road in the form of vibrations and resonance thru the floor and pedals dependant on how rough the road is cant make my mind up if its just bad tyres...got the original michelins on only part worn 9000 miles.had it to two dealers and they both say the same ...nothing wrong with the car.Just spoils the ride for me.Smooth road its fine anything rougher and i can feel it.Tempted to put Dunlop sp01's on.suppose to be the very quiet tyre..Otherwise i like the technology and the car looks great. Z3M Roadster Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 My rear doors have done the same and after nearly 2.5 years of opening and closing them has caused the paint to wear away in a couple of spots. Perhaps it only happens on the early cars, mine being a 54 plate Quote

Z3M Roadster Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Thanks, but I can't be bothered to step foot in a Citroen dealer if I don't really have to. At the moment I am stuck with a 56plate 1.2 Micra for 10 days while my C4 is in the bodyshop. Quote
wozza Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Ohh micra. Last time I had one was the old style 1.0 I had to drive. It was bloody awful. Also drove one of the newer 1.5 diesel ones which wasnt too bad but felt even smaller inside than the older one. As a result i was even less of a fan. When your big tiny cars are not good. My leg was resting on the gearstick so when I changed to 5th it was a bit of a bugger putting foot on clutch and moving my knee out of the way etc. Still liked my Almera though was a good car when we had it. Z3M Roadster Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 This would be fine, if I didn't do loads of motorway miles. Filled up with £35 of petrol yesterday which I had to pay for and claim back as my fuel card only allows diesel, did about 260 miles in it today and need to fill up again. On the plus side it does have a rest for your clutch foot, on the negative side you need to change gear so often you never get to use it. Pedals are excellent for heal and toe though! Quote
