Z3M Roadster Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I've been to Yorkshire and back twice since Friday, and am well impressed with the fuel consumption. http://bigjohnd.250free.com/CitC4/56mpgthumb.jpg http://bigjohnd.250free.com/CitC4/trip506thumb.jpg I wonder if I'll eventually get 700 miles from the tankful? That's 200+ miles from a third of a tank. Woah, to get that mpg you must drive like a true Radio 4 listener :P Quote

DavidB Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 These French make great cars. Just picked up my new C4 HDi here in Oz on Tuesday. Wow what a fantastic car. I filled up my first tank of diesel yesterday and cant believe the results. 1179 km (733 miles) at 4.9l/100km (57.6mpg). Car computer said it still had 50km to to go. The tank took 58 litres, so I cut it very fine with only 2 litres left. Its still not fully run in so how good is that. RegardsDavid Quote
C4VTS Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 http://c4owners.co.uk/files/public/1183041684_82_FT7185_mpg280607_.jpg And that's yer average motoring in a 6cv (110HP) 1.6HD VTR+i; no long distance cruising there. And this for a C4VTS 2.0HDihttp://aycu19.webshots.com/image/22178/2005723381051364820_rs.jpg Do I get the prize for HIGHEST AVERAGE SPEED of 49mph ?This is a months normal driving for me, not a one trip up the motorway. As you can see I did nearly 2,000 miles in July. Also I don't drive in a way that saves fuel. Just A to B in fastest time. Quote
