Anybody here attending?

I have my ticket booked - a boys day out! Not sure if I'm going up on the 7th or 8th yet, as my brother is making all the arrangements. Looks like we are taking my C4, so will be there with it hopefully all detailed!

Will take a look at C4owners.co.uk now..maybe they are organising stands etc? Would be good to show off the car rather than leave it in the car park!

The thing is the majority of people wont say a thing to anyone. As well its nothing to do with them why should they care is the mentality but if it happened to them they would all be moaning about why no one saw them and did anything.

that is unbelievable.

My friend mentioned that on sunday (apparently) the organisers of the show had unmarked cars patrolling looking for things like this. I can't believe anybody had the gall to attempt something like that!

Nice pictures you got there! Any of your C4?

Just a shame the Scooby didnt fall off the jack on to the person helping themselves to the wheels.

I'm with Wozza on this one, however even when you do intervine the Police tend not to have an ounce of common sence in these matters.

They must have got in the boot to have got the "useless pancake" out....but then I suppose they took the bootlid too...

Boot lid is still there by looks of it as the spoiler is still attached. You would think that would be one of the items to go really.

Probably had his eye one it but just couldnt possibly fit anything else under his arms.

the wheels and the evil reg plate  :P

They do the job !

I'm actually thinking about getting some French style plates made up, but I can't decide if it's worth the hassle from the Po-Po :P

Why is there a limit on how tinted your side and back windows can be?

Mine are tinted - was thinking of getting them darker thats all...

p.s. sorry i have habit of hijacking threads - i wont do it again!

the law states that you can have anything rear of the B pillar. But the driver and passenger window and windscreen are allowed a 30% max tint which is what most of them come with out of the factory. Any darker and you can be asked to take it and get it tested and show its road worthy. Think its to around 50% lightness they do that if its too dark think 70% or so they give you the option of taking them off there and then or you dont continue to drive the car. But this is only on cars with near enough black tints.

Basically front 3 windows should not be tinted the rears can be.

Good point Wozza, but I was thinking along the lines of:

1. Never been pulled in 2 years of driving so local police like my car

If you drive half sensibly and dont look like a chav then your pretty unlikely to be "picked on".

2. French plates look closer to UK spec than German plates that police frown upon..

theyre limo blacked windows i think they differ from the law but still the first 3 windows are normally not tinted only the ones behind the driver with a limo black one behind him as the screen
