Scarbro Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Can Ijust say that after looking at this forum for the last six months that i am now a fully paid up member an not an interloper. Yesterday I picked up my new HDI VTS in shiny black so today I am studying the handbook to see what all the options are and do. The only thing I think will be a pain is the damned cover over the bonnet release lever which is attached to the passenger door which has to be opened quite wide to get access to the lever. As I can't open the door wide enough on the drive or in the garage I can see a slot being cut in the cover so I can access the lever. Quote

Why not just cut the end of the door off it'll be so much easier...problem solved!! ;) Quote
iannez Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 dont cut anything. just remove it from the door card. its cliped in. leaves a square hole but you will hardley notice it. forum full of savages lol. Quote
Scarbro Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Hi All Just put a protective strip on the house wall so I can open the passenger door without scraping the paint off and I can now just get to the bonnet release lever so all is well and no cutting needed!! Never had a car with so many gadgets on it's a real adventure discovering them all, could take months. Cheers Quote
Stuey Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 yeah the car does have a lot of bells and whistles...it will keep you entertained for ages...Lee_mash's exclusive kept me and Wozza busy for ages when we had a play with it ;) Quote
lee_marshuk Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 hehe yep! Remember when I first drove off with the car, had to get it home with air con blasting hot on a blazing summer's day with some crappy radio station in....was too scared to press anything ;) Quote
