Guest chrisnn Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Having just acquired our Pluriel, I spent some time checking the car over, as I always do with 'new' cars, for any minor job that might need doing, and that includes the cars drains... I noted that the drivers side wiper spindle is deeply recessed, and a quick look showed it had leaf debris in the bottom together with a tide mark. Sure enough there is a drain hole in the bottom, but totally blocked. Now all sunroofs have to have drains, and it is not unknown for these to block causing interior leaks and stainded headlinings. I wondered about the Pluriel, and tried a small quantity of water in the front channel that runs right across the car. This drained successfully down the windscreen pillar and out through the front wings. Ok, but these caould easily be blocked by leaves when the roof is open.. On the www.c3pluriel.org.uk site, a comparison is made of old and new seals. At each top corner of the windscreen, there is a small secondary 'gutter' with a hooked end. This too has a very small drain hole, which leads to the drain above. As a newbie to Pluriels, I'm certainly no expert, but I guess the above are worth checking before blaming 'that roof'! Quote
