Mat Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Am i right to be a little concerned that my front tyres have 40% tread left, whilst my rears have only 50%? Are the rears wearing a little too fast? (I dont do handbrake turns in my car, btw) Quote
iannez Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 your tyres are all wearing even which is a good thing. 50% tyre wear on rear tyres is about right after 20k and if anything its your front tyres that are lasting well and not your rears that are wearing fast. this will be down to the way you drive. if your a smooth driver and not racing away from standstill or hammering your car round corners there should not be that much wear difference between front and rear tyres. Guest CE05LDB Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Ive just had 2 rear tyres on my 05 C3 at 16,500 miles. Quote
arrows Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I've still got the original rear tyres on my C3 at 50k miles and they have about 4.5mm of tread left. Quote
