Anyone help with some suggestions?

There is a squeaking noise from the rear of the C3 when I go over any uneven road surface. Some of the local roads here are so bad that the car is permanently squeaking. Its not a problem on nice even roads when you can find them!

Other than the old solution to rattles in the Ford Fiesta (turn up the stereo loud), if anyone has had this problem and found a fix it please share it - I would really appreciate your help.

Embarassingly have just sorted out this problem.

It was the Steering Wheel security thing (one of those yellow bar things that you lock on to the steering wheel) I had some passengers in the back seat weekend but last and they moved it. I had just started to move thing out of the boot to see what the squeak was (thinking it might be spare wheel) I put a few things behind the seat, just happened to touch the steering wheel bar and got the identical squeak. I should have known. Sometimes its not Citroens fault!!! Next time I get a noise I'll empty the car of all my bits first!

Reminds me of that VW Golf add where the driver keeps hearing a squeak when in the car and it turns out to be an earring she is wearing.

Maybe you could sell your story to Citroen for their next C3 ad campaign.
